The scholarships offered by Scotch College provide substantial remission of fees, allowing able students of many different backgrounds to attend the school, regardless of the financial circumstances of their parents. The scholarship program not only benefits individual students and their families, but further enhances the intellectual and social diversity of the student community, resulting in a more stimulating educational experience for all boys.
The scholarship examinations are open to boys who are not yet attending the Scotch College Senior School.
Scholarships are offered for entry to the Senior School in Year 7, Year 9 and Year 10. They are awarded on the basis of an examination and an interview. Applicants for the Music Scholarship also complete an audition.
The examination and audition are only conducted at Scotch College. The school conducts its own scholarship program.
