Some of Melbourne's Top Chefs will demonstrate their skills in our modern professionally equipped Demonstration Kitchen.

Recipes are provided and sample tastings of dishes demonstrated together with a complimentary glass of wine.

Monday 12 October 2009: Daniel Southern presents French Bistro Flavours from Comme Kitchen
With experience in modern French cuisine developed in London, Daniel Southern first established a name for himself locally at the now defunct Est Est Est and Ondine. Following stints at L’Oustal French bistro, and more recently as Head Chef at Bistro Guillaume at Crown, Daniel has recently taken up a position of executive Chef at Comme and it is a pleasure to welcome him back to the Top Chefs Program. This is sure to be a memorable evening for lovers of modern French bistro cooking.

Monday 26 October 2009: Taxi Head Chef Tony Twitchett, demonstrates a Modern Australian menu with Japanese influence from Taxi Dining Room at Federation Square
Tony works closely with Executive Chef, Michael Lambie, to present the fresh clean flavours of Japanese-inspired modern cuisine. This is the second time Taxi has been a part of the Top Chefs Program – enroll early to secure your place in what promises to be an inspiring class.

Monday 9 November 2009: Head Chef Travis McAvuley showcases Tastes of the Hellenic Republic
The Hellenic Republic has to be Melbourne’s hottest Greek Taverna ever. Since opening in December 2008, this fresh Modern Greek Taverna has been packing them in to rave reviews. Hellenic Republic is the place to experience traditional Greek Taverna cuisine with a ‘George Calombaris’ twist. Book in to sample and learn what it’s all about.
