| Barrie Burton Head of English (2008) | |
Despite coming from Adelaide, his climb up the cultural and evolutionary ladder to Scotch has inspired both anthropologists and evolutionary psychologists. Outside his prodigious literary insights, Barrie’s viticultural erudition and culinary skills are mercurial. Present and former colleagues, past and present students are all the testimony Barrie needs for his contribution to the English Department over the last 19 years. | ![]() |

| Ryan Johnstone | |
