Welcome to all new players and parents whose boys will be starting their hockey career at Scotch in 2013. Also of course, welcome back to those many families returning to experience another enjoyable and exciting season, following on last year’s hard work on and off the field. In the first term holidays, a squad of hockey players will travel to Townsville to play various school teams.
The Montgomery Club was formed in 2005 to support, promote and raise the profile of hockey at Scotch. It works to provide a forum for, and to organise functions to bring together, all the Scotch hockey community - in order to contribute to the support, growth and fun of the sport at Scotch. Success in these of course relies on the active participation and contribution of ideas from parents and supporters of the boys. Please help by getting involved with the Club through attending our major events – Social Evening, Welcome BBQ, Awards Night and Family Day – and contributing to the Club’s planning. This year is sure to again provide memorable opportunities to enjoy the fun of Scotch Hockey.
All interested supporters are welcome at our Montgomery Club Meetings which are held about five times during the year. So come along, make some new friends in the hockey community and help grow the excitement for our players.
