Yes, our ever friendly and reliable Yvonne is hanging up the phone in December to start the next phase of her life, a thoroughly deserved retirement. Yvonne has been in charge of our reception and mail services for 23 years, during which time she has become a most valued resource for the School. Her knowledge of the workings of the School and its staff has made her the reference point for countless questions covering an extraordinary range of topics about the School.

Yvonne, a key member of the administration team, has embraced numerous changes in technology (the rise and to some extent the fall of fax machines, voicemail, email, in-dialling, mobile phones, pagers, boom gates, video cameras and computer-based information systems replacing paper files for names of staff and students and their locations at any time of the day), and always maintained her smile and is always approachable. Ever resourceful and enquiring when trying to assist someone with a problem, she never let a challenge get the better of her.

In wishing Yvonne a happy, fulfilling and relaxing retirement, we record our gratitude for her service and our appreciation of her friendship.
