Prep Grandparents’ Day 2008

On Friday 30 May the Prep boys welcomed grandparents and special friends to spend the morning with them at school. Over 130 visitors enjoyed a chance to catch up with old friends or meet new friends at morning tea in the Boarding House, before venturing out to see their grandsons and their friends in action.

The Prep boys displayed their physical skills in a PMP session in the Junior School gym, their artistic skills in Art – working with their visitors to complete ‘Grandpa’s Slippers’, and their academic and communication skills in their classrooms. To complete the morning’s activities, boys performed a repertoire of singing and dancing items in the Junior School Assembly Hall. A walk in the sun to share lunch and recount the day’s events down in the Cardinal Pavilion capped off a busy but happy day for grandparents and boys. GS
