The biggest-ever attendance of 175 enjoyed a wonderful Garden Day on 18 November in the beautiful surroundings of Stuart Rattle’s farm at Musk, near Daylesford. Garden Day is an annual event organised by the Cadet and Military Band Auxiliary.
Stuart very kindly opened his house and garden for the morning, as well as hosting morning tea. Everybody was struck by the beauty of the property, and many photos were taken, with the aim of emulating his ideas!
Lunch followed at the Lakehouse in Daylesford, which was a very enjoyable way of ending the day. Helen Inge won first prize in the raffle – a magnificent painting by Robert Doble.
Garden Day has been hosted by the Cadet and Military Band Auxiliary for a number of years. It always attracts many Scotch past parents, and we thank them for their great support over the years.
