Curator takes centre stage on water initiatives

Yarra Valley Water invited Scotch Curator Michael Smith to present on Scotch’s water saving initiatives at a seminar held at the Manningham Club, to coincide with the release of Yarra Valley Water’s case study on Scotch.

The school’s $3 million Stormwater Harvesting and Irrigation Reticulation Master Plan is the blueprint for a major effort to reduce our dependence on potable water in maintaining the beauty and lushness of our grounds and surroundings. This has resulted in more than halving Scotch’s use of mains water.
