Visiting Scholar Works with History Students

During terms three and four, the History Department was host to archaeologist Dr Sarah Howell-Meurs from the Department of Fine Arts, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Melbourne.

Dr Howell-Meurs' visit was organised through the University's scholars-in-residence programme. She worked with the Year 10 Classical Civilisations class and with groups of Year 7 students on practical archaeology exercises, as well as giving the boys an insight into her work on digs as far afield as Turkey and Little Lonsdale Street.
