The OS Hockey Club is represented in State League 1 for the first time in over twenty years.
After seven rounds the club is sitting second on the ladder which is a wonderful achievement.
Past and present students performing well are Steven and Charles Tulloch, John and Charles Fedderson and Andrew Hodder (Captain).
The team has welcomed two new players, Danny and Steve Brennan who were selected in the Australian Indoor side and Australian Under 21 Indoor side respectively. John Fedderson is currently in the V.I.S squad.
The Club recently held a coterie lunch at the Clubhouse, hosted by Ross Blair-Holt ('69) which was attended by over seventy people.
Brian Goorjian, the head coach of Victoria Titans, gave an excellent speech on sport in America and also awarded a presentation to Jim Scott who played his 1000th game. This is a remarkable achievement in any sport, and Jim says he did not count games played for the veterans.
The Club continues to be one of the strongest clubs in Victoria hosting 12 senior men's teams, five women's teams and over 30 junior teams. New players are always welcome to start or resurrect their careers. David Emerson ('78) has recently returned to the Club and is performing well in the seconds.
