That's the best way to describe life for the Year 10 group at Scotch this term.
Highlights have included a visit by the Young Australian of the Year Tan Lee and the vaccinations conducted by the City of Boroondara. Over two hundred and thirty boys received Diphtheria and Tetanus vaccinations.
Later in the term several year 10 students attended Youth Constitutional Conventions to explore issues relating to constitutional change. Their interest was derived from a popular Contemporary Issues and Politics unit taught at Year 10. The unit is one element in some recent curriculum changes made at the level.
Scotch was well represented in Adelaide at the 1998 Australian National swimming championships. Qualifying for national events is a great achievement and congratulations on arriving at this standard go to all the boys who participated at this most important meeting.
Rob Hunwick won a bronze medal for the 13 years and under 100 metres backstroke.
The 2nd XI and the 9B cricket teams were undefeated for the season and they are joint winners of the Team of the Season award.
