International 'Web Page of the Month'

The International Association of School Librarianship in conjunction with Concord Australia recently declared that the Scotch Library home page was an award-winning web site for December, 2001.

The aim of the IASL/Concord School Library Web Page Award is to promote the involvement of school libraries in the development of the Web and to promote excellence in the Web sites of school libraries. This award is made to an elementary/primary or secondary/high school library Web page, from any country, that meets the selection criteria.

All the School Library Web Page of the Month Award winners will be reviewed again by a Selection Committee before the IASL annual conference, to make sure that they are still in existence, and still of an appropriate standard — and also to assess any changes.

The winner of the IASL/Concord School Library Web page of the Year Award will be announced at the annual conference in August and carries with it a cash award and a plaque.
