James Forbes Academy taking shape

Construction on the James Forbes Academy Stage 2 is advanced to a point where not only is the built form for the auditorium, theatre and foyer now obvious, but also the relevance to Stage 1 and the Academy as a whole project can be contemplated.

The excitement of standing on the drama theatre stage, spectating from the music auditorium, or, at interval, spilling out onto the generous terraces, awaits the whole Scotch family.

By the end of September, the main construction should be finished with enough time for fit out before full operation on day one of first term, 2005.

There is no doubt that this new facility will enrich the life of every Scotch student. The whole community should be proud and grateful to all those who have contributed to make this development possible.
