The Scotch College Class of '92 held their 10 Year reunion at the Prince Alfred Hotel on Melbourne Cup Eve. The night was an overwhelming success with approximately 130 Old Boys attending, which accounts for nearly half of the 1992 class.
L to R: Fraser Pollock, Andrew O'Brien, Andrew Evans, Campbell Heath, Scott Baker and Andrew Seymour
L to R: Hamish Guerard, Tim Picken, Derek Styles, Tom Kennessey and David McGowan.
The night was kept very informal giving everybody ample opportunity to mix with fellow Old Boys, many of whom they had not seen since the day they walked out of the Morrison Street gates for the last time in 1992.
The 1992 School Captain, Joseph Ischia, made an entertaining and topical speech providing a brief update on the progress of some of the Boys in the last decade. It is fair to say there were some surprises with the number of husbands and fathers in our midst.
The night finished up fairly late, after we left PA's for a final cleansing ale at one of Richmond's more salubrious establishments, the Depot. Thank you to Trevor Wrigglesworth for managing to convince the door staff at the Depot to allow us to enjoy their hospitality.
Finally thank you to David Chalmers and Tim Joyce for all their assistance in organising the night, it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
