John Craven ('69) is the new OSCA President. John runs his own IT company (Terranovate) and was instrumental in the delivery of OSCAnet, the online website for Old Scotch Collegians. John hopes to continue the recent programs implemented by OSCA, including the Pavers Program and the further development of OSCAnet and mentoring. John is committed to continuing to extend the relevance of OSCA to all Old Boys and other members of the Scotch Family. 'The take-up of the mentoring over the past year has been exceptional and I am looking forward to the ongoing development of that and other services'. John also highlighted the importance of maintaining the links between OSCA and the School. John said 'The recent Vietnam Reflection Day was a great example of OSCA and the School working together to deliver an event that was relevant to both Old Boys and current students.'
The Council welcomes former School Captain Dugald McWilliams ('91) onto the Council and farewells Rob Logie-Smith ('60), who has given great service over a long period to the OSCA Council and Old Boys in general. Andrew Wallace-Smith ('72) was elected Joint Vice-President with Bob Welch ('66).
