New administration centre underway

The new Administration Centre building, involving a significant rework of the building near the main Morrison Street gate which previously housed the library and teachers/workers lounge area, commenced on 16 November.

Construction will take about twelve months. The building will house the Principal's administration, the Bursar's administration, the Development Office, Admissions Office and Accounts. 'It will be a great step forward in communication and efficiency, as well as providing an obvious focus of arrival for visitors to the College,' said the Bursar.

As with all building construction, there will be some disruption to the normal routine for traffic and pedestrian movements, but the usual cooperation from the Scotch community is anticipated.
