One of the highlights of the Old Scotch Masonic Lodge year is the Old Boys' Night, when visiting Old Boy Freemasons are welcomed to a special meeting, which this year included an address on the relationships, feelings and views of Scotch students to their senior years at the School.
The meeting paid great honour to Pat Wood, who received a 65 Year Award for his continuous service to Freemasonry.
Past Grand Master Reg Gregory presented this, and Pat was delighted to receive many of his dearest friends to witness the presentation.
The lodge took this opportunity to pay tribute to our outstanding guest of honour, Leigh McGregor, the retiring Executive Director of the O.S.C.A., who not only delivered one of the finest "Ode to the Haggis" we have experienced, but feelingly and sincerely spoke of the School we all cherish, when invited to respond to the School Toast.
The Lodge expresses its deep appreciation to Leigh, for his long and caring service to the School, the Old Boys, and the Affiliated Societies of the O.S.C.A. 'Thank You Leigh!'
