Cross Age Buddies

All boys in 5Y and 5G are paired with a buddy from Prep H and Prep J. Once a cycle we work together on a variety of tasks such as reading books, writing stories, creating art and craft activities and ball games. These sessions are very exciting as the boys in Year 5 look forward to meeting up with their buddy and hearing how their week has been going in the Junior School.

At the end of term one we helped our buddies make Easter baskets and started the term with assisting them purchase goods from the Mother's Day stall.

Pneumatics

In Year 5 Science we have been constructing pneumatic devices. Each boy designed and constructed a working model which showed pneumatics at work. The boys designs ranged from car hoists, to opening doors and vending machines.
