The Class of 2003 Committee is working hard to ensure that they deliver a strong result for their year group, whilst having some fun along the way. The group is joining forces with the class of 2002 to raise enough money to fund a bronze burning bush sculpture that will be prominently positioned in the new Old Scotch Square. Old Boy Jim Derham has designed and will build the sculpture which will be one of the first visible sculptures on the School premises.
The Committee is headed up by School Vice Captain James Barton and comprises a member of each Tutor Group - Cam Johnston, Paddy McKenna, Tom Nickson, Paul Bui, Andrew Hocking, Michael Baker, Simon Ainger, David Henning, Nick Lynch, Andrew Ericksen, Andrew Sutherland, Chris Simmons, Jonathan Lee, Matt Szakiel and Alex Wallace-Smith.
Funds are being raised via the sale of the year 12 rugby jumper, the year 12 windcheater, the class of 2003 cap, and a range of glasses. Mounted and framed summer and winter sports photographs are also available. The boys also run the Friday BBQs outside the science lecture theatre. Other events are being planned to capture the hearts, minds and wallets of anyone interested!
