Scotch College

A family affair in the Scotch Military Band

For the first time in its history, the Scotch College Military Band has three members from the same family in its ranks.

Military Band

SSgt Daniel Harbison (Year 10), who plays the trombone, has been joined by both his brothers - Rowan (Year 9), who plays the sousaphone, and Adrian (Year 8) who plays the trumpet.

All three joined the rest of the Military Band to perform at this year's Melbourne Anzac Day march. this event is the Military Band's first major public event for the year, and gives an opportunity to serve the community while testing its mettle in public. It also marks the beginning of a busy year of events, including community displays for local primary schools, a performance fo the Melbourne Storm rugby league club, and or course, the Sctoch Cadet Tattoo.
