Fine Art Show breaks new ground

The inaugural Scotch College Fine Art Exhibition and Auction from 12 to 14 November proved to be an outstanding success. Some three hundred people attended over the three days of the Exhibition at the Hawthorn Town Hall Gallery, and sales were conducted both prior to auction and during some spirited bidding on Sunday afternoon. More than $40,000 was raised for the Ken Field Endowment Fund for the Arts. The College is most grateful for all the support given to this new venture, but especially to Barry and Anne Pang (current Scotch parents) and Anita Archer from Artpreciation who sourced all the wonderful paintings and conducted the auction itself.
