Thirty-five members of the Old Scotch Bushwalking Club enjoyed a great walking weekend at Warrnambool in late October.
Their three-day weekend included a Friday visit to historic Koroit, nearby Tower Hill, and in the evening the sound and light spectacular ‘Shipwrecked’ in Warrnambool. The sunny Saturday was devoted to beach walks of either 26 km, 17 km or 11 km. Sunday included a stroll around Colac’s beautiful botanical gardens, followed by lunch in the gardens café. It was a fantastic weekend – one of the club’s best ever – well organised by Ian Marchment (’64) and Geoff Stephens (’59).
