Sporting Fixture (’pdf)
Mr Stuart Powell
Sport at Scotch College is about the involvement of our boys in a myriad of activities over three distinct periods of the school year. It is about striving to improve as individuals within the team framework, However, it is also about forming friendships, developing sportsmanship, improving self esteem, self discipline, understanding teamwork, physical fitness and enjoying our unique Scotch school spirit.
We believe that all individuals under our care have the potential to be relatively successful and therefore enjoy their chosen sport. As coaches we must create the right environment for skill development and improved self esteem. Success should be judged on whether a boy is a better player, team member and person for having been involved with the team for the season.
The eleven APS schools participate in many sporting competitions, from junior ages through to senior levels, and abide by an accepted Code of Conduct and Regulations.
