Snowsports Committee Meetings

All interested parents are invited to attend committee meetings to be held on the first Monday of each month (excluding holidays) at 6.00pm in the Staff Common Room in the Lithgow Centre.

Snowsports, Annual General Meeting and Presentation Evening

Wednesday 15 October 2008, 6.00 pm in the Cardinal Pavilion.

Season launch

On Thursday 31 May Friday 25 May, Venue: Andrew and Jane Fairley's residence.

SnowSports Club Presentation Evening

Wednesday 17 October, 6.00pm to 8.00pm, Cardinal Pavilion. BBQ for competitors, teachers and parents.

Uniform requirements

The approved uniform for Scotch Snow Sports is now available and is to be worn at Mt Buller Trials, Victorian inter-Schools, National and School Presentation Events.

Safety on the mountain

All parents are advised to refer to the snowsafe website below.

It is recommended that all Scotch College students have the following items on them whilst undertaking any snowsports activity:

• Trail map of the appropriate mountain
• Space Blanket
• Emergency contact details
• Chocolate bar
• Whistle
• Mobile phone/walkie-talkie (optional)

NB. All parents should ensure that their son is aware of emergency procedures should he become lost/injured in poor visibility/conditions.
