Big Bands typically perform the styles of swing, rock, latin and most contemporary forms of jazz. The band includes a mix of woodwind, brass and rhythm section instruments as deemed effective, depending on the availability of students in Years 5 and 6 who have attained the necessary standard as defined by their relative Heads of Department.

Admission is by invitation.
