Junior School String Orchestra

Rehearsal Time: Day 4, 8:25 – 9:25am

Venue: Keith Humble Auditorium (KHA)

This orchestra caters for Years 5 & 6 students who play the violin, viola, cello and double bass. The orchestra is open to all players learning either within or outside of the school program.

Typically this ensemble includes a wide range of players in the school and includes approximately 30 musicians.

Major performances * and activities for the year include:

• JS Winter Concert
• Scotch Strings Concert
• JS Summer Concert
• Annual JS String Camp

*In addition there will be other performances where such opportunity arises. These may include school assemblies or performances in the wider community.
