Suzuki Violin Group Lessons

Year 3 – Year 6 – Tuesday 7.30 – 8.20am

The Suzuki Violin Group Lessons cater for all violin students learning the Suzuki method at Scotch College. It provides an opportunity for all students to play and rehearse in a group setting with plenty of games and musical activities.

The classes run in conjunction with individual lessons and help reinforce posture, technique, repertoire and listening.

The classes are broken down into smaller elements catering for particular skill levels.

Major performances* and activities include:

• JS Winter Concert
• Scotch Strings Concert
• JS Summer Concert
• Assembly Performances

*In addition there will be other performances where such opportunity arises. These may include school assemblies or performances in the wider community.
