A warm invitation is extended to families to join the Scrum Club.
The annual fee of $20 per family enables the Club to support Rugby at Scotch in a wide variety of ways. We assist the school in encouraging boys to achieve their full potential as players and individuals, through raising funds, organising events that unit the Scotch Rugby community, encouraging communication within Rugby organizations and the wider community, and promoting the good image of Rugby within and outside the Scotch community.
We do this by subsidising clinics and tours, facilitating specialist coaching, donating equipment, arrangeing tickets to international rugby events when possible, producing branded garments and signage, and by providing free sausages and drinks to all Scotch and opposition players after home games.
Complete the Membership Application Form and return it with $20 to Robert Reid (address on the form) or to the Scrum Club Barbecue Stall when you are next watching a Scotch home game.
They say that Rugby is the game played in heaven and now we have merchandise to make you look “heavenly” either playing or watching from the sideline!
Kooga jackets – beautiful, warm and stylish! Never feel cold on the sideline again.
Scotch Rugby Helmets – a must for all the boys!
Scotch Rugby Balls – only a few left but more on order!
Scotch Rugby Kit Bags – smart, personalised bags that hold all the gear and more!
Scotch Rugby Jerseys – another “keep-warm” item for the sidelines!
Scotch Rugby Grey Hoods –a fashion item for boys and parents alike!
Scotch Scarves – perfect for all supporting Scotch at all winter sports!
All items available for purchase from the Scrum Club BBQ stall on Saturdays. For all queries, please call Anne Murray on (03) 98331130 or 0411 206 212.
Again this season, we will provide players with a BBQ at all home games. The boys really look forward to their complimentary sausage and drink after the game. To achieve this we need your participation. The roster will be given to team representatives in coming weeks so please give your support and volunteer to be included - it's great fun! Call Jenni Fenton 9815 3117 for more information.
