Most Services have a corresponding Auxiliary which assists with both practical and funding support for the activity.
By helping in a Services Auxiliary you will meet a wide range of parents, crossing year levels, sporting interests and music groups. Getting involved is a great way for parents to exchange ideas, share the experience of parents with older students and hear about programs that you may think your son would enjoy that he may not otherwise find.
In the case of the Social Service Auxiliary you also meet with some of the Senior School students when assisting with driving. (See Social Service). Parents often become involved in more than one
Auxiliary choosing a Sport, Music and a Services or School based program. In Year 7 if this area interests you consider Scouts (page 25), Social Services (page 26), Library/Book Exchange (page 19), Scotch-At-Cowes (page 30) or Swap Shop (page 32).
