TENNIS: Serve and Volley Auxiliary

Welcome to all new players and parents whose boys are starting their tennis career at Scotch. Also of course, welcome back to those many families returning to experience another enjoyable and exciting season.

The Serve and Volley Club was formed in 2009 to support, promote and raise the profile of tennis at Scotch. It works to provide a forum for, and to organise functions to bring together, all the Scotch tennis community - in order to contribute to the support, growth and fun of the sport at Scotch. Success in these of course relies on the active participation and contribution of ideas from parents and supporters of the boys. Please help by getting involved with the Club through attending our major events – Welcome Breakfast, Awards Night and other activities from time to time.

All interested supporters are welcome at our Serve and Volley Club Meetings. So come along, make some new friends in the tennis community and help grow the excitement for our players.

THE PURPOSES OF THE CLUB

• support, promote and raise the profile of tennis at Scotch;

• support the administration and coaching staff of tennis at Scotch;

• encourage all members of tennis teams to achieve their full potential both individually and collectively;

• provide a forum for, and to organise functions to bring together, all of the Scotch tennis community;

• raise money for the above objects and purposes by such methods as the Club thinks fit.

The Committee welcomes new members and seeks input from any parent or student.
