Michael Robinson David Crawford

Michael Robinson AO (’55), Lawyer and Company Director. Council Member since 1986; Chairman since 1996. Consultant to Allens Arthur Robinson. Former Managing Partner and subsequently the Senior Partner of Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks. Former Chairman of the Bionic Ear Institute, Epworth Hospital and the Melbourne University Law School Foundation. Former President of the Institute of Public Affairs. Michael’s three sons attended Scotch; he was a Scotch parent from 1977 to 1993. Chairman of the Executive, Nominating and Remuneration Committees.

David Crawford (’61), Company Director. Member of Council since 1991 and Vice-Chairman since 2003. Former National Chairman of KPMG and presently Chairman of the Australian Ballet and Treasurer of the Melbourne Cricket Club. David is Chairman of Lend Lease Corporation and a Director of Westpac Banking Corporation, BHP Billiton and Foster’s. Former Council Member of the University of Melbourne. Member of the Executive, Investment, Nominating and Remuneration Committees. Past parent.

Rev Ivan Barker Rev Ivan Barker, Presbyterian Minister. Former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria. Council member since 1997. Chairman of the fees Assistance Committee.
Brian Bayston OAM Brian Bayston OAM (’48), Lawyer. Council Member 1980–1985 and since 1996. Consultant to and former Senior Partner of McCracken & McCracken. Former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria. Member of Executive Committee. Past parent.
Sarah Bernard Sarah Bernard, Managing Director of Sarah Bernard Events Management. Council Member since 2004. Former President of the Scotch Family Association. Sarah has two sons still at Scotch, and her eldest son, Matt, was Captain of Boats in the winning crew of 2004. Sarah is a Member of the Property Committee.
Craig Drummond Craig Drummond (’78), Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs JBWere. Council Member since 2004. Member of the Investment Committee of the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Chairman of the School’s Investment Committee and a Member of the Executive, Finance and Superannuation Policy Committees. Current parent.

Craig Drummond David Kemp (’59), University Fellow. Council Member since 2004. Fellow of the Australian & New Zealand School of Government and Visiting Professor at the University of Melbourne. David was a member of the House of Representatives for 14 years, during which time he served in Federal Cabinet as Minister for Education, Training and Youth Affairs 1998–2001 and Minister for the Environment and Heritage 2001–2004.
