Old friends visit Scotch

The School recently welcomed two former staff members who visited Scotch. Former Vice-Principal Ron Bond experienced a tour of the new James Forbes Academy and met up with current Bond House captain Matthew Danos. Ron was in great form and vividly recalled his happy days on the staff, while lamenting some of the changes that have taken place – such as the disappearance of Latin, the loss of a march to Pukapunyal and the disappearance of Saturday morning detentions!

Frank Stuckey, at the young age of 100, presented medals to Year 12 tennis players during an assembly in August. Frank taught at Scotch from 1959 until 1971 and still assists the Commerce Department today! Frank turned 100 in April and is pictured here with Old Scotch Tennis Club president Colin Simpson and Year 12 tennis players.
