The Old Scotch Wine and Food Club continues to delight the taste buds of the greater Scotch Family. Functions and outings are open to all Collegians, their family and friends, and new faces are encouraged. Functions vary in style and ‘flavour’ and are held approximately every two months or so.
Why not start the new year off with a catch up of old friends at a Gourmet BBQ Lunch and Wine Tasting to be held at the Dromana Estate Winery, on Sunday 17th February 2008. Attendees will be shown around the winery and get to taste both their and other local wines, while eating some fabulous food. Buses have been arranged to get the participants there and back and so patrons have no reason to not fully enjoy the day. Bookings need to be made. For more information please visit www.oswfc.org and click on Upcoming or call Andrew Magennis (’61–’72), function convener, on 0417 135 302.
Other functions for 2008 should include, a Japanese night with wines to match (April), a mid year ‘Xmas’ in July at Grossi Florentino’s (June), Robby Burns “Down Under’ a Scottish fling (Aug), Special Cooking Class with a surprise chef and of course wines to match (October), and something fabulous in December. If you would like to be kept in touch re these and other functions, let us know at our web site by clicking on Mailing List | Add to.
