The Old Scotch Collegians’ Association announces a new partnership with the NAB.
Words: Tim Shearer
Old Scotch Collegians’ Association members can directly support the association and the School by taking advantage of some special lending offers now available through National Australia Bank.
With a relationship harking back to the 1850s, Old Scotch College is one of NAB’s oldest customers. By taking advantage of NAB’s special offers you will be supporting the Association and the School.
Funds raised from this offer will be used to support programs and activities delivered by the Association, including reunions, financial support of our clubs and societies, and assistance for School parents.
For more details of the NAB special offer visit www.oscanet.com.au (click on ‘Sponsors’) or contact NAB Mobile Banker Scott McNicol on 0404 445 476.
The partnership arrangement between Jellis Craig and OSCA is entering its third year. This arrangement has delivered outstanding results for over 30 Old Boys, for Jellis Craig and the OSCA over this time. And in a significant enhancement of the partnership, Jellis Craig has improved its offer to members of the Association in 2007.
The Stillwell Motor Group has had a long association with both Scotch College and OSCA. This year any Old Boy who purchases a new or used car from Stillwell BMW will receive $500 of free accessories, and OSCA will receive a $500 rebate.
Simon Wallis (’86), Nigel Wallis (’96) and Shaun Wallis (’93) run the travel business Travelrite, which has two outlets – one in Heathmont and one in Balwyn. Travelrite, as a sponsorship partner of the Old Scotch Collegians’ Association, specialises in coordinated tours. In 2008 Travelrite will proudly present the Scotch Military History Tour of Gallipoli, France and England, which will be held in June and July 2008. The tour will be led by General Peter Gration (’48) AC OBE, former Chief of the Defence Force. The tour will focus on Old Boys who served in World War I, and in many respects will follow in the footsteps of our illustrious Old Boy, General Sir John Monash. More information regarding this tour appears on page 45 of this edition of Great Scot.
The Old Scotch Collegians’ Association uses the funds raised through its sponsorship program to support our 17 Old Scotch clubs. The table below shows how this support has grown in recent years.
