Bowls club numbers on the rise

Membership of the Old Scotch Bowls Club is on the rise, with about 60 bowlers registered and more than 30 of these participating in our match schedule.
The season commenced on 3 September with a game at Kew Heights Recreation Club. The club has programmed 15 midweek matches, in a season which runs until April 2009.
At the annual general meeting, the following office-bearers and committee members were elected for 2008–09: President – Manson Russel (9809 1054); Secretary – Keith Weymouth (9817 1780); Treasurer – Don Badenach; Manager – John Burrows; committee – Bob Arnold, Brian Cossar and Colin Simpson.
