The Old Scotch Bushwalking Club's July walk was to Paul Range, near Healesville - an area we last visited in September 1996.
The 13.5km walk was quite strenuous, but always enjoyable-apart from the rather unwelcome and constant company of some noisy and dust-producing trailbikers. A walk which started in misty conditions ended in brilliant sunshine, with most of us walking in shirtsleeves as the winter sun beat gently down.
Neil Hart-Smith, our walk leader, kept us entertained and sometimes slightly perplexed over where the walk was taking us-but he knew where he was going, even if the rest of the walkers were sometimes sceptical!
