The Old Scotch Masonic Lodge held its annual Trivia Night in conjunction with their July meeting. About 100 Members, wives, friends and visitors formed teams to "battle" for the Trivia Champion's prize. The competition was arranged and presented by our Resident Trivia Master, John Bell ('60). After a big night of brain- teasing challenges, and many "appeals" to the Trivia Master, two teams were dead-heated. After a sudden-death final challenge ("How many 3 letter human body parts are there?" # - how many can you finding in 60 seconds !!), the Trivial Champions, led by Bruce Latimer, were established, bringing a very exciting and enjoyable night to a thrilling conclusion.
On the ceremonial side, the Lodge has had a busy program of work, with the Lodge Officers of 10 years ago, led by David Ferguson ('56), demonstrating the Fellowcraft ceremony in June; the current Officers raised Warren Peacock ('72) to a Master Mason in August; and in September, Don Badenach ('48) was welcomed into the Lodge with a First Degree ceremony.
