1951 Centenary Celebrations

Those who attended Scotch’s 100th and 150th Celebrations included:

Audrey Stanley, wife of late Lindsay Stanley (’34), mother of Graham Stanley (’60) and grandmother of Michael Stanley (’93), David Stanley (’95) Andrew Cameron (’91) and Alasdair Cameron (’94) attended the Foundation Day Concerts to celebrate both the School’s 100th and 150th.

In 1951 with Lindsay, she also attended a special Holy Communion Service in Littlejohn Memorial Chapel, the Centenary Cabaret Ball held in the St. Kilda Town Hall on Friday, September 21, 1951, an Old Scotch Centenary Production Off the Record held at the Union House Theatre, University of Melbourne in September/October 1951 and the Memorial Parade and Thanksgiving Service held on the Main on Sunday, October 7, 1951.

Audrey, now aged 82, said: ‘I miss not having contact with the School now but shall always cherish my memories and be proud of my association with Scotch.’
