Tyson adds more silverware to his trophy cabinet

At the Eastern Cricket Association presentation night at Hawthorn Town Hall in April, Tyson Yeo (Year 10) added yet another item to his already bulging trophy cabinet- the association's 2003/04 Dave Dickie Memorial Trophy. The trophy is awarded for the best junior player in the Eastern Cricket Association.

Tyson plays for the Eastern Willows Cricket Club in the ECA, and has played in the Scotch 1st XI since Year 9, which included being a member of the APS premiershipwinning team in 2003.

Tyson, who began with the Eastern Willows under 12's in 1996/97, has become well used to cricket success. Some of his many achievements have included captaining the 1999/2000 Eastern Willows U12A premiership team in 1999/2000, selection in the Victorian Primary Schools team in the same year, and numerous club and association batting and bowling awards.

Tyson is an outstanding young cricketer, and is a worthy recipient of the Dave Dickie Memorial Trophy for 2003/2004.
