On Saturday 8 September Scotch College once again held a very successful House Athletics Family Day for all boys in the school from Prep through to Year 12. If boys were unable to compete they either supported their house or officiated.
In the Junior School prior to the day, all boys in Years 3 to 6 participated in field events such as long jump, high jump, shot put and cricket ball throw. On the Saturday all boys competed in 100 m, 200 m, 4 x 100 m relay and many in the 800 m and/or 80 m hurdles.
During the morning the Junior Primary boys also participated in their programme, which included sprints, slalom run, shuttle run, tunnel ball and brothers and sisters races. We also held an under-age 100 m sprint event on the Main Oval.
Boys in all houses competed to the best of their ability, enjoyed the day and were true sportsmen.
The staff were extremely helpful, busy and totally professional and the family support on the day from parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents and friends was superb.
It was a very close competition with the results as follows:

| 2. Healey | 2. Bradshaw | 2. Waller |

Once again on behalf of Mr Andrew Nichol and myself well done to all the boys, and many thanks to all staff, parents and their families for such a successful day.
