It gives me great pleasure to announce the 2013 ScotchArts concert season. The season promises to continue the tradition of superb musicianship and diverse styles and approaches that characterised the previous six seasons.
The 2013 season opens with pianist Joe Chindamo, who delighted ScotchArts audiences in 2011. This year he returns in an exciting new collaboration with classical violinist Zoe Black. For the second concert we introduce some members of the renowned percussion group TaikOz. Their theatrical performances are legendary and their concert promises to be a truly memorable event. The final concert in the season features critically acclaimed Australian pianist Grace Kim and Dutch cellist Teije Hylkema.
The Ian Roach Hall is the perfect place to enjoy great music. It has a superb acoustic and is much loved by artists who perform in it. Further, it is easily accessible, with convenient free parking and comfortable seats! Meet with friends and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine before the concert or during interval. I warmly welcome you to our 2013 season.
