Fellow patrons will appreciate your thoughtfulness and courtesy, so please:
- Arrive in plenty of time. Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break in the performance. ScotchArts and venue management reserve the right to refuse admission where there is a likelihood of disturbance to other patron’s enjoyment of the performance.
- Switch off your mobile phone, pager or alarm device before the concert commences. Patrons expecting emergency calls should leave their seat numbers with a member of the box office.
- Note the location of the closest exit sign. In the unlikely event of an emergency, please listen carefully to the staff’s instructions. Venue staff is trained in emergency procedures and will assist and direct you should such an occasion arise.
- Flash photography or sound recordings of the performance is strictly prohibited. It may also cause a breach of copyright.
- Cover your mouth when coughing is unavoidable. Other patrons will appreciate your consideration and health-consciousness when you muffle unavoidable coughing.
- Reserve applause until the conclusion of the work.
- Do not talk during the performance, or allow young children to talk or engage in behavior that will detract from other patron’s enjoyment of the concert. Venue staff reserve the right to ask you to leave in such cases.
- With certain concerts, it may not be appropriate to bring very young children or infants. Patrons are invited to check with the organizers in advance.
- Do not leave during the performance; wait until the performers have taken their final bow.
