1999 Head of the River

Four of six Scotch College crews made 'A' finals. The Year 10 Division Two crew were victorious. The Year 10 Division One and Two are classifications introduced for the Head of the River for 1999.

First VIII

Xavier College, the pre-race favourites went out to lead at the 500 metre mark with Scotch and Geelong College going stroke for stroke down the course.
