Rowing arrangements for 2012

Compulsory Swimming Test 

• All boys must complete a swimming test. 

Rowing 

• Rowing begins 
• Tuesday February 7^th  (Group A )  6.45-8.10am 
• Thursday February 9^th  (Group B) 6.45-8.10am 

Groups

 Group A will train Tuesday and Saturday.

 Group B will train Thursday and Saturday.  

Both Groups will train for Year 8 sport on Thursday after school. Boys doing Year 8 hike will be exempted.

Uniform

• Shorts 
• T-shirt 
• Hat (compulsory)
• Towel and change of clothes (just in case)
• Valuables must not be left unattended in the change rooms.
• Mobile phones and money should be locked in the sports lockers in the rowing change rooms. Boys will need to provide their own lock.
• Times :  Group A   Tuesday 6.45 – 8.00 am 
•   Saturday  8.00 - 9.15am
•   Group B Thursday  6.45 – 8am 
•   Saturday  6.45 – 8.am

Breakfast

On Tuesday and Thursday mornings breakfast will be provided in the Cardinal Pavilion at a nominal fee, which will be added to school fees.

Students who chose not to participate in the school breakfast must mark their name off the list with the teacher in charge.

• Thursday March 1st – Group B -6.45-8.30 am
• Saturday March 3rd   – Group A and B 
• Tuesday March 6th  –Group A -  6.45-8.30 am 
• Thursday  March  8th – Group B -6.45-8.30 am
• Saturday March 10th – No Rowing Labour Day Weekend 
• Tuesday March 13th  – Group A -  6.45-8.30 am 
• Thursday  March  15th – Group B -6.45-8.30 am
• Saturday March 17th – Year 8 Regatta at Scotch (6.45-9am)
