Physics interfacing equipment
This year the Physics Department received a generous grant from the school to buy a class set of interfacing equipment.
The idea is that each Year 12 student connects many different kinds of apparatus directly to his own laptop computer, which then becomes an X-Y plotter, or an oscilloscope, or a digital multimeter etc, with a large coloured display.
The students have enjoyed it immensely. This is the way that many Physics experiments are now done at university, so we are really pleased to be completely up-to-date at Scotch.
If parents want to see more, we will be having an interactive display on Family Day.
