Ken Field Art Show

Paul Fitzgerald to open 2001 Ken Field Memorial Art Show

The Exhibition will be held in the Memorial Hall on the Scotch Family Day weekend, 13 - 14 October, and will be officially opened by Paul Fitzgerald AM, internationally celebrated portrait painter, on the evening of Friday 12 October.

Flynn Silver Decade Decanters

The organisers of the Exhibition are delighted to announce that the Flynn Brothers of Kyneton, world famous silversmiths, have agreed to exhibit this year.

John and Dan Flynn have the rare skill of combining crystal with silver, and so renowned is their skill that they have been invited to collaborate with Garrods of London, the Queen's jewellers, and also the exclusive Steuben Glass of New York.

To celebrate the school's 150th anniversary, Flynn Silver has created fifteen unique decanters, one for each decade of the school's history. The Orrefors crystal decanters, in the classical Scotch whisky shape, are decorated with sterling silver depicting the school's crest and shield. The motto and 150th statement are engraved on each. To view a completed article prior to the Exhibition please contact the Development Office, 9810 4300.
