Great fun and fellowship at BPA annual dinner

Boarding parents, grandparents and friends from around the globe met and mingled with other families, Heads of Houses and staff in the Cardinal Pavilion on 21 February at the Boarders’ Parents’ Association’s annual dinner.

As usual it was a most enjoyable evening, with parents travelling from rural Victoria to be there, and from afar. There were parents from southern NSW, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Dubai, to name just a few.

Scotch Archivist Paul Mishura spoke at the dinner about the history of the Scotch boarding houses on the Hill, both past and present.

As well as another successful cocktail party, held at Scotch on 9 May, Family Day – Saturday 12 September – will provide another great opportunity for boarders’ parents to get together. There will be the boarders’ pancake stall, followed by a cocktail party and the Boarders’ Revue that evening – it’s a ‘must do’ weekend!
