Fundraising for Chipapa

Sam Grimshaw from World Vision was presented with a cheque totalling over $9600 which Scotch boys had raised to support the community in Chipapa in Zambia. A casual clothes day and 24 hour famine fundraising helped Scotch reach this total.

Sam outlined the 3 pronged approach of World Vision, helping with emergency work, advocacy work and community development. The funds raised would go towards World Vision's long term commitment to the people of Chipapa, providing water, sanitation and education. He said that many people there had lost the ability to dream for a better future, and he hoped that contributions like this might restore their dreams.
