National Virtual Debating Championships

The Scotch open squad won its way through to the National Virtual Debating Competition final, where it debated against Canberra Girls Grammar. Each debate allows teams to field 3 speakers and one silent debater who assists with prep and notes for rebuttal. Scotch has fielded five teams this season, two in the Junior school and one in each of the year 7/8, 9/10 and Open divisions. The open squad were defeated by the girls in a close debate.
