Typically, this ensemble includes musicians with more developed reading and playing skills than those boys in the Intermediate Band. Members are in Years 9, 10 and 11 with the potential inclusion of advanced Year 8 musicians. This ensemble includes approximately 60 members. Admission is extended to all students in years 9-11 with appropriate playing skills.
